Yeah, but I dont care I just want it out. The A station has a different engine than the nova tho I believe...like a gimpy K.

The uQ works FLAWLESSLY, but it doesn't sound the way I want it to.

All right All right...

The engine is almost identical, BTW... it doesn't have all of the timing options of the new Novations and it's one part!!! I never understand the all one character folks with multiples of the same sounding synth...

think about the MS2000, it would really suit your sound, man!!! deep, and thick!

well don't get me wrong, it's a great synth- but not for me. I really didnt like the trance leads I COULDN'T make with it- and I couln't have been doing any thing wrong if I've been cranking out leads from a virus rack (nother ui-type synth, which you know) left and right since the day I got it (I had the uQ for 6 months). Yeah, I did make a few I liked, but that was using the hell out of unison, which I NEVER have to use on any of my other synths, and I just flat out don't like using at all...

But, again, I will miss the great pads and basses it added to my sound arsenal. It was just a waste of a synth (how I was) using it for just pads and (simple) basses.

fair play- although i dont do tracne i must say i progammed an amazing trance lead on my a-station, i wasn't that impressed but me mate was like wow- tried to use the same settings on the uq and it didnt cut it- found the opposite for pads though- i couldn't get depth of pad with the a-stat that i could with my mates uq...
