since im in a chatty mood...what h/w synth do you guys still own/use in your tracks/cant get rid of in spite of the "software revolution"...thats the one i want next...im expecting a mix of the major va's plus a smattering of analogs....

me: sh101; everything else ive considered selling off....

My nova, which I use all the time, and will never sell.

And my K2500, which I don't use, and still will probably never sell. I don't get on a serious synthesis tip but once in a while, but I would be kicking myself the next time it rolled around if I had sold me K...

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

only have a virus and evolver now (still havent gotten control of that one) but to be honest, the more I think about it, the more Id like some classic analogs

AND a good desk and a few good outboard compressors.

but...right now...can afford only what I have...

I've just sold my Virus C. Didn't like it's analog imitates anymore and for digital sounds I have more flexible synths like the microQ or VirSyn Tera as software.
Didn't use the microWave 2 for nearly a year now, but I think I'll keep it because it has it's own unique sound character.

Still frequently used are Pulse an Evolver, some pianos, rhodes and organs from my Roland JV and the Prodigy.
Still exploring FM7 too.
