just when you thought hardware was dead. looks very promising.

on a side note, I almost kicked myself the other day (and my coworkers) when i realized we have the virus indigo TDM plugin sitting free on a pro-tools install disk somewhere at work. doh! gotta get on that...

the new virii are just mindblowing specs wise, but...fuck...$3000?

it seems like an incredibly bold move. You cant crack hardware, but...plenty of synths that cover the same ground the virus does for a heck of a lot less if you already have a solid PC

sure does look badass tho

phooook... i just bothered to check it out properly. thats probably the FIRST synth built with s/w mixing & sequencing & integrated desktop production enviroment in mind. and about the only hw synth worth getting, if you think the way i do ;)

welcome to 21st century guys... one day all our synths will (hopefuly) function like that

BTW dave, its 1500 for a desktop, 2300 for Polar and KB....not too bad, pretty much standard new virus prices...but this aint just a new virus, its a tijsvirus
