Hi Guys,

This is my new site. www.soundmagus.co.uk

I will be putting up Video tutorials on how to create psy trance mostly but general synthesis will be involved also along with a whole host of other tips, tricks etc.

Its still not 100% finished, there will be a request wall where anyone can leave suggestions for future tutorials etc. I will attempt to create video tutorials on how to create a psy trance trak from start tofinish with general plugins, vsts and cubase.

For now i would appreciate you guys having a look and any comments would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Mark

hey cool!

1. good image quality.. is that mp4 at 15fps?

2. get rid of that aweful earth hum on the audio track

3. the playback from the sequencer needs to be as loud as the vocal imo. you cant hear the bass at all on the sidechain video for example

which screen capture s/w did u use out of interest?

HI

Yeah the hum is a pain, its there because i just made those videos the other day and using crappy onboard whilst waiting for my new soundcard (arrives today hopefully).

image quality is avi/15fps

software used : camtasia

again the playback is non existant due to soundcard issues, however the sound is immaterial on that video as the video is about setting the C1 up, NOT how it sounds.

anyway thanks for checking them out and your comments are most welcome.

regards

SM

Hey, nice stuff, I have only checked the C1 SC tutorial so far, but it is clear and concise... the only thing I am unsure about is that you have some already set-up stuff on the screen (like the group channel), and while you show how it is created (when it is already there), it might be more logical to actually have nothing first and then create the group channel (and show how it is done by doing)... not a major thing, I just feel that would be more logical.

Also, eg for the SC, you could have presented what is sidechaining and what is needed for that in cubase, and then show how it is done.

As I said, minor remarks, and I am not even sure if I am right on these as I have never been into making tutorials.... Great stuff anyways.
