WHY NOT JUST LET IT REST AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS? Dont you think that if your shit is truly good itll get the attention it deserves? No, it wont stay up there. Im sure of that...because that shit fluctuates. That was the original intention at least, but there are quite a few of you who for whatever stupid sad pitiful reasons insist on voting for yourselves. I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

Like I said a couple of posts up, I'm not into this anymore as this thread took away all my illusions about having a "network" in here. I'm not usually thinking about this, but the other night I was drunk and tired and feeling depressed. Eventually I ended up posting here. I don't think I would have done that in any other state of mind.
Anyway, I'm not as bitter as the post from the other night indicates. I just do stupid things sometimes, under certain self-inflicted circumstances. Unfortunately, I remember what I did when I wake up.

well y'know... so fucking what, it's good to just stop sometimes & not make music. I've done it loads of times... often when you come back after a long break you look at things differently, and usualy you make WAY better music. It's the same with guitar playing. You get this plateau effect where no matter how much you practice it seems to be going nowhere, then you fling the guitar down, leave it for 2, 3 or 6 months and come back to it... somehow after getting the machanics of the finger movements back to speed you find just play so much better. dunno why.

Blaming a group of people because your synths are dusty?
DT's never been about backpatting, but , lol fucksake man, either take critism or dont - beyond DT and the further up the 'out there' ladder you go, the worse it gets!
Either take the advice, or dismiss it - ive seen alot of SHIT advise on here regarding opinions on how people reflect on someones music and give god awful advice, but its not meant to be mean in any way, its just there 'take' on what they heard. Seen some GREAT advice also , but thats what makes this place, you just have to grab your balls and choose what to take and what not to without getting defensive and looking for someone to blame
look at me, these purist bastards dont even take my music seriously lol but i know enough from my years here to accept it and not get my back up about it
Dust those puppies off and have a go, you might just like it - if not then sell up and do something else your enthusiastic enough in, enjoy yourself and leave us to decide which synth for trance!
