I'm no GEEK, and I don't Flame. I figured I could get help from some intelligent musicians, but all of you would rather talk about burned retinas. Well, I'm going with Cubase, Yamaha DSP, a midi interface, and that will get me started. I'm researching the Nord Lead, or Waldorf Keyboards (FIZMO Sux) and a couple rack mounts (Emu Orbit, Korg N1R, Etc.) The new Korg Triton is great, I messed with it, it has a built in sampler, so that would alleviate me buying one. Don't offend me, I'm way cool, and you might be surprised to know who I am

Jasper- The casio doesn't have MIDI, it has 8 terrible, uneditable voices with no low end, It is one part multi but it is meant to be an S&S synth (using sample playback for it's 'voices'). If it was MIDI i would use it (but not for the 'voices'). It's not even gate/cv controllable so you have to play anything live.

But you wouldn't want to anyway.

If by your Diving Faces comment, you mean you made that track, I'd just like to say whoo hoo, bully for you. This is a tech forum, not Smash Hits. You say you want to hear some of our tracks? Just go in any British club this weekend, you'll probably hear one of mine. So what. Everyone has something useful to say whether they've had commercial success or not.

Not my fault it is well loved. And as for the hundreds of thousands of dollars that pour in, should I send it all back exclaiming that I'm not satisfied with a "smash hit" ?
