WHY NOT JUST LET IT REST AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS? Dont you think that if your shit is truly good itll get the attention it deserves? No, it wont stay up there. Im sure of that...because that shit fluctuates. That was the original intention at least, but there are quite a few of you who for whatever stupid sad pitiful reasons insist on voting for yourselves. I hate collabs. Just can't do it. I know you weren't serious and just bringing me into this for some reason. Yeah so people slow down. I still put alot of stuff up but slower now because of your complaints.
About the chart self vote thing. Well I think you all are just blowing this out of proportion. People tank the charts all the time. I admit when i first came to DT i did it myself. Of course i didn't have that many songs at the beginning so it didn't seem so bad. after like a while i got bored and I stopped. I'm sure after a while, they'll get sick of it as well. I'm not just aiming this at Spencer but everyone who has ever done it. And if they don't, have faith in K. He'll do something about it.

as for spence, well. its pretty sad that a)the only time you bothered to take part in anything besides big-upping yourself was to talk shit and b)you felt the need to try to pull the "because youre older and doing electronic music you must be a loser" crap

oh and paully...NO, not everyone feels the need to so blatantly do such a thing. Ive voted for a couple of my own tracks, once or so. Ive never once asked anyone to do so for me, and I certainly didnt use the kind of false manipulation displayed by certain entities
THAT was the original beef I had, and it is a beef against the sadly shallow commercialism displayed by far too many (many of the same who rail against america for this same characteristic!)
I dont really care what little kids think about me, my perspective, or anything of the sort, and I most definitely will keep talking shit whenever I see lame actitivies such as what started this thread. I never said anything about DJ little-boy-cool-guy though

i think K should really sort this out for the people that it matters to.
Could have a sort of weekly chart entered every sunday where only members can cast one vote on there favorite recently posted track (3months and under or something)
actually how many members here? he could do a mailout on wedendays, we could return a blank email with Artist-track in title and then he counts and posts a top 40 every sunday for that week or sumfing.
dunno if that would be to much hassle for somethinmg not everybody cares a great deal in but would defo produce a more acurate and honest picture of whats hot n whats not at DT each week.
I personally dont really check the charts much and when i do its always littered with people who never post here anyway, so i never listen- but theres a select band of posters i listen to everything from (no mean feat on dial up!) regardless of genre so ill mebbe start using my vote to show some dt love.

And i don't take it personally what you said about how fast i write stuff. Its true. You just made me realize that not everything i write should be put up because obviously its unfinished. Why should I force my music upon others when they probably don't want to listen to it? I shouldn't. So I don't do it as often as I used to. Its hard to get true constructive criticism anyhow like you mentioned somewhere around here. everyone has become yesmen. so i only finish my unfinished tracks based on my own ears and not upon others. yes i probably still do about 2 unfinished tracks a week (no not really). Depends on creativity spurt. I do have a bunch of them lying around though. When i do finish a track, i feel its my right to share it.
