Yeah, this is funny stuff. Do the Greek authorities realize that *every* version of windows comes with a few games built in? Even MS-Office has a flightsimulator built in (you gotta go through some secret nintendo style password typing stuff to get to it though)

actually i find this stuff very hard to belive but if its true i will personally go down and throw some rocks at the police in greece. I did not know that greece was a dictatorship or has there been a vote from the people about this shit?
But as i said i dont belive it until i have gotten this verified

this is not a hoac but this is just a badly written law. It was meant to battle illegal gambling set on quite a few internet cafes in Greece. Since politicians in Greece do not have any IT knowledge whatsoever they managed to complicate the matters without any reason. I am quite confident that it will not be enforced. Either way in Greece freedom of speech and privacy are taken very seriously. So in practice nothing is going to happen. I can assure you that all my friends back home are happily playing command and conquer at the moment. I think there is a Quake tournament going on in public next week in Athens. So yes it is just a stupid law but Greece is not China. Thinks will go back to normal pretty soon. As for the cops in Greece K is right. Most of them are unneducated and not properly trained fools.

i am chatting with some of my mates at the moment. They are in an internet cafe playing counter strike with other 50 guys. it is open 27 hours a day and they ll be going until morning. All night! Its crazy! Just goes to show how seriously this stupid law is taken by the people.
