Hi all!
I've been looking around for synthesizers and came across the following two: Yamaha S30 and Roland XP-30 synthesizers.
Which of the two is the better one in terms of versatility, sound editing, soundbanks, expansions, and 'the bang for the buck.'?
I've post many question on other sites and many have told me that the S30 is the way to go for professionality and sound editing.
However, the xp30 is about$200-$300 more than the S30, so how can the xp be worst?
Anyone who knows please answer.
Thanks!

I *think* the yamaha is a full cs6x with expandability too...yamaha's are allways a bit cheaper then rolands..I'd go for the yammy.

ROMpler. Get's the job done if you're not heavy into synthesis. If you're needing to work fast and not worried about too much originality in your sounds, it'll probably serve you well. I find Yammy's OS's to be less cryptic and easier to learn than Roland's. If it costs less as well...I'd grab it if I were you.
