Ggrrhh. It's really really great, conceptually, that you can route a uQ patch to "aux" and theoretically put filters & fx on it with another patch setting designed to receive that aux signal. But the mixer/routing doesn't allow "aux" as its input. The only thing I've found that can accept the aux signal is the ring mod in the Five FX setting. This is with OS 2.20. What I'd like to do is run a patch with its two filters through another set of filters. Anyone had any luck with this? I spose I could physically route one of the outs to the external in, but I hate to use up an out for that.

just patch it. then it's real analog innit ;)

I chained out to in to out to in on my nova once and made a 72dB/oct filter (at least in theory). not the most musical sound i ever came up with...

good luck.

right: AUX sends the signal to an internal audio bus. that way you can use it as a carrier for the vocoder or ringmod input in the 5FX.

(roughly translated from german)

says nothing about filters and such, as you can see.

Well, I'll break down and use up an out to try that extra filter thing.

As it happens, I also have an extra microQ, the keyboard version. But I'm looking to sell or trade that for an Evolver or a cool FM synth to complement the mQ.

(Yeah, I know it doesn't say anything about it in TFM, that's why I asked.)
