i blasted a hair dryer thru the port and it seemed to play perefectly for a while, now just not recieving nuthin again

can anyone help? Nick@Novation?

It sounds like the solder joint on the PCB board might be loose. Take a soldering iron and reheat the solder joints for the midi connector.

I'd email novation. I had a problem with my outputs on the nova and they sent me- free of charge- 4 more. And that was stateside delivery- still didnt have to pay anything. AND on top of that, they knew that it was second hand.

Amazing customer support...

Smae here:they sent me replacement keys for my Bstation which was 2nd (or 3rd?) hand....never have i expereienced such great support. (and the Bstation is a gem btw)

IT seems Novation are a bit cheap though with applying solder....a lot of their products need some resoldering...(nova knobs, drustation etc...)

Hi All,

this is not that common, honest! Keep an eye on the MIDI socket, if it needs to be replaced contact our UK authorised repair centre, Panic Music on 01223 873073.

Best regards,

Nick.
