i'm getting some funky behavior and it's only a week since i bought the thing.
while i was playing a live show this weekend, the screen went blank but
everything still functioned properly. not such a big deal, but it just freaked me out.
i can't find anything on the novation site so i guess i just was wondering if
anyone else had experienced this.

Hi, this is not common but it could be power related. Were you running this from a laptop USB port? Was the laptop plugged into a power conditioner? Did the screen go blank at a point when there could have been a power spike - stage lights came on etc?

well, what's weird is that it's happened both on stage and in the studio. i keep on
trying to recreate it, but it seems to happen when it's plugged via usb but has
batteries in as well. i don't have a power cord for it yet.
it's connected to either my desktop g4 or my 12" powerbook. obviously running
osX and os 1.1 on the remote.
i keep forgetting to get my serial number and sending this inquiry to novation
themselves though.

speaking of.. Nick, why is the U.S. distribution so shitty? you can't find remote or remote
audios anywhere except f§£¢$ing Musicians Friend. I went into guitar center (city of
chicago location) about two weeks ago and they didn't even know what the hell i was
talking about. But my downstairs neighbor got one from M(other)F(uckers) and I loved it!
I must have one!! Hence, why im so bothered I can't find one myself!
(and even then, MF only have the original Remote audio, not the extreme with the
bundle.. they've been saying "two to four weeks" on the xtreme for about six weeks
now)
MUST....BUY....NOVATION....PRODUCT..........QUICKLY!!!!!!!!!
