Hello

I'm using VST 5.1 for PC. I want to use the Groove control function to correct midi timing to fit more comfortably with sampled audio drum loops - but I have no grooves in my folders!!

Does anyone know where I can get hold of these files.

Cubase regular 8th/16th groove templates and the DNA extra grooves???

In fact any templates would be better than none...

Thanks

you create your own using the beat slicer in audio edit (or buy them, but if you create a template from the actual audio loop you're using, the resulting groove template will match it

Thankyou... I knew that you could export templates from recycle (which I don't own) but not from VST.

Just read a load of posts on a thread from previous groove discussion re: timing of grooves in ticks in Logic, particularly the c-swing... thats given me some interesting pointers...

I used to cut up all my audio 'by hand' so to speak - I'd never come across the 'snip at m-points' function... very handy... do you know if it cuts the audio at zero crossings?
