Hi All,

I am currently going about setting up a studio which I hope to produce some Deep House tunes in... I'd like to do stuff similar to Lance DeSardi, Demarkus Lewis, Naked Music......

I'm currently looking for a synth which would be good for this style of music: Deep (rhodes like?) soft Chords, chunky basslines, soft pads/strings...

I'm not fussy whether it is a new or old synth or if its analog or digital. As long as it sounds good!!

I need a synth capable of the above with the following specs:

- Multitimble / Polyphonic Synth
- LOTS of knobs and sliders - I wanna be able to design/manipulate my sounds with as much ease as possible.
- Preferably plenty of outputs... If Im going to use this synth for a whole array of sounds I'd like to be able to have them on separate channels on the mixing desk.
- Midi compatable.

Any recommendations???

Well I'd think that you'd be best off with a rompler type like a triton or a JV something...not that much sound mangleing, but they got alot of poly/multi/outputs and make great sound.

nord lead 2 .. very good value these days,.. and exelent in rhode�s simulation, pads strings sound brilliant .. luvly detuned hard synced osc, tight synth, great bass lines (although it will not go as deep as an analouge bass 'nothingever will.. it has a harder type of sound great for techno, but it will pull of house just as easily..
