Please someone help. My mixer has two outputs, left and right.the CX3400 shows three set up applications. in all three only one input is used. As it happens, it's the same input, whats the other input for and how do I conect the other channel? Rachel

read the manual (see link) - you can use this device as a stereo crossover or mono and it also can be switched 2/3 way operation and the freq band cut points can be switched too

this allows the unit to be utilised across all possible normal PA uses... nice!

if you have a straight PA with two stereo amps and two stacks, use it in stereo 2-way mode

L/R input from master-out on mixer goes to IN 1/2

you can also use it for stereo 3-way use with a 3-way active system

in which case, one out feeds the tops, one the mids and one the bass

in 2-way, one feeds the tops and one the bass. This would ne normal for a club style PA which would use passive crossovers for the top end (like a hi-fi speaker does it) and split the bass-end apart to send off to a dedicated amp for powering the bass-bins

btw - this product is NOT, REPEAT NOT a mixer!!

i saw your comment on the page and.... well... this sort of gear is NOT designed for beginners at all, so perhaps you found it odd if ytou think this device IS a mixer.. it is not

why have you got it anyways?? - did someone rip you off and sell it to you as a 'rack mixer' or something?
