Hi I've Just bought the RME DIGI9636 but without the extension board. My problem is that i used to work with wave files as well as midi files at the same time ( I'm using cubase SX as software ! ) and that the RME DIGI9636 does not have a midi I/O port and neither does it play midi files !! So what can i do ? Must i buy the extension board ?Does the extension board, DIGI9652 has a midi I/O port in it and will it be able to play midi file ?

no it doesnt have midi on it - you'll have to get a midi i/o device to use external midi gear.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
