this has been bugging me for a while now...

is there anyway to set up routing so that i can control external synths on different channels with the oxy8 knobs regardless of what track im in in the arrange page? as it is, i can only control said synths if i have its own track selected

example: i have track one selected (assigned to my a3000 sampler, channel 1) but i want tweak my 6trak (which is on track 2, channel 2) with knobs 1 & 2 both set to transmit to channel 2. not possible, unless i switch to track 2 but then i cant control the a3000

when the oxy8 is routed through my q80 this is possible but not through cubase?!

What Cubase version do you have ?

In SX you simply click on the monitor button (the one with the speaker symbol) to activate midi through for a certain track.

If you have one of the older VST version, you'll have to go to the multi record setting. I can't tell you exactly what to do there for, since I upgraded to SX3, my VST 5 doesn't find the old parallel port dongle anymore.
