ok - who's got some deejay sets to stream? - send us a mail - we're setting up radio again - from a dedicated server in telehouse docklands this time, not from the 7161 site server.

eventualy when setup we can do live sets - but we gotta setup a radio studio in london first.... unless it's possible to accept streams for re-distribution from any location - it might be possible - more soon, but we need some sets to get the ball rolling - ANY genre, dance or guitar shit.

ok, the test streams are setup (see top of 7161 frontpage) - i added 4 sets from when we had it going last time about 5 years back..

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

there's also icecast which is the open source? version. all down to the server though. but someone with say a 20Kbs upload can stream a 96k session i think .. not sure what the numbers are but dj streams at his bandwidth to shoutcast then server streams that out to however many.

native instruments traktor can hook up to a shoutcast / icecast server straight from the app apparently.

well, that's all setup now - Zazza's been busy... we got Real Helix or Shoutcast!.... We did a test broadcast on Friday night which went 100%... sooo... er.......
