I recently purchased a SR-16, the preset patterns are pretty loud when listened to through head phones. When I hit the pads though, the volume is very low. Any idea on how to fix this?

hit the pads harder.

seriously, those things are designed to have a wide dynamic range, so they're meant to take a licking to send full velocity to the sampler.

personally, that's why I never dug pads for programming... you really have to nail them to get full volume.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
