Just bought a second hand Akai S3000XL, when i switch it on it sticks on one screen with one message at the bottom saying: waiting for hard disk ready.. SKIP
At this point i cannot do anything with the sampler. I did not get an external drive or any akai floppys with it on purchasing it, i dont know exactley what i should do its a real dissapointment not being able to use it. Please help.

the fuse on the internal scsi terminator is blown, you'll need to take it in for repair. i don't think there is any way around this.
