I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

you dont want a website though...you want a book, in hand. the manual. RTFM
just you and all those knobs, and a manual telling you how to use them
it takes a long time...sounds like youre new to synths entirely maybe? if so, give it a while...like..months...years even...to internalize all the possibilities (or, rather, some of them)

if you can think of anything else apart from a brain transplant please let me know. I guess all synths are the same?

it really might do you a bit of good to search out some synth programming books or the like.
or, another way to learn is to deconstruct a patch (also called a preset or sometimes program) and see what makes it tick...
but its basically just oscillators, envelopes, filters, LFOs and amp output.
give it time. its definitely not something that comes to you immediately, and the SN isnt exactly a "simple" synth (not that it cant be programmed simply)
anyway...google...amazon maybe (or a local bookstore or library)
check this link:
http://www.access-music.de/downloads.php4?product=viruskb&file=167
...its "Programming Analogue Synths" and is geared towards the access virus, but definitely covers lots of the basics in general subtractive synthesis.
