Great stuff as usual.

So you prepare patterns and put them together in realtime?

Yeah- I program a bunch of patterns on the MPC, put everything together, back and forth into a stereo recording and punch / dial some additional patterns on the fly on the 606 and SQ-10 while I'm at it. I do sometimes miss the advantages of multi-track recording though but too damn lazy to try and implement I guess. Thanks for the listen Rags.

This is really good Maarten...can definately imagine hearing this played out in a dingy club.

Don't think this suffers at all from not being multitracked. Excellent work

no man thats the way it was done, thats how it all started, keep it alive Maarten, spontaneous live stuff... a crowd and some pills to link it all together in a concious circle

Like when you used to get an old mono synth with no midi etc and depress one key, then stuff a folded up flattened strip of fag-packet cardboard between that key and the adjascent key so it's holding down the key and permenantly sending out a note, then send it thru a gate unit, send an aux send out to the trigger input from a drumbox and gate the synth in a mix and fuck with the filter etc, switch patterns on the drumbox and drop in samples etc.. hehe those were the days they should make it compulsary in music schools for students to start 'dance' classes with 6 months or a whole year doing stuff without a pc at all, learn the structural traits & origins of underground electronic club music, they could do performances for each other etc, different genres whatever

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
