Just put a new tune up, track__dt_track_id=14671&user=2577&carrywith=&music_group=1>Bedtime Story
, and would welcome any feedback on the mixing/mastering aspects of the song.

my composition is still simple and (imo) too repetitive, but what I would really like to hear
from others on is the mix, and overall frequency layout. I'm not quite happy (i know it
could be better), but eventually burned myself out on it and had to stop listening.

i've got a pisspoor monitoring/room situation, and this is probably a major contributor to
lack of clarity when listening/mixing. working on a pair of m-audio bx5a's in a non-treated
bedroom, very little (close to nothing) on the walls to absorb/diffuse. and really can't hear
whats going on in the low low end with those bx5a's.

mostly done on an rs7k, the rest in adobe audition.

thanks, cheers,
-mac.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

Has a cool laidback 'slowly drift away' feel to it, nice work.
