do they make pre amps for vocal programs such as Acid Pro 5.0, or Adobe Audition?
If not how can I get a crisp vocal sound, I have a real good brand new mic but no matter how many effects compressors ect, I still dont feel there crisp enouph
Please Help!

Have you tried using a hardware compressor (mic into compressor into computer)??
I used to have the same problem until I did this

and just a pre-amp alone would be a good start... how are you capturing the mic without a pre-amp?

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
