Dear Sir/Madam:
I recently bought a unit of ESI's Keycontrol 25 and I've been having some difficulties making it work.
I connect Keycontrol 25 MIDI-out to a Tascam US-144 interface which is connected via USB to a Dell PC (I have 2GB of RAM and over 300GB of ROM). The software I'm using is Sonar 5.
I'm powering the Keycontrol 25 with an adaptor so that I can use the MIDI-out port, but it still doesn't work well.
I have also tried triggering a Roland Sound Canvass with the Keycontrol 25, but I get no response at all. So my questions are:
1) Do I need any specific interface to trigger sound modules directly with the Keycontrol 25?
2) Are there any detailed e-user manuals available anywhere?
