If anyone knows where I can find a power supply for a Kawai Q-80, it would be much appreciated.
thanks, joe

cant you just use a bog standard cd adapter (assuming it's a DC p/s)?

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

hd/dd... forget which is which, you can use the new kind (hd?)

there's a little 'hole' in the disc somewhere near ther edge. if you put some tape over that hole, it will function in the q80 for (dd)

disc drive - ttbomk all disc drives use the same connectors.. i replaced one in an ensoniq mirage (same era) with a bog standard model ;) worked fine.

power supply - ooh.. i think i've got half of one somewhere... don't have any lights in that room so will have to wait

you can replace it with any item matching the specs..

now ***i am not sure about this*** so make sure you validate it (there may be an answer in the diy article here.. if so, trust it.. it's been a long time sine i did any diy..) as long as the amperage on the psu is equal or higher, you can use it..

..so any electronics shop, electrician should be able to rig you a replacement
