My mp3's sound really bad. Sounds fine on CD.
Not only is mp3 leaving some sound out but it mangles whats left.

Whats the best remedy for this?

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

I use Audacity to make mp3, the standard LAME v3.98. I Just found an article that recommended 160kbps and tried it. No joy, still get the pops and mangle. Those two songs use the same drum samples. I was thinking there maybe a mystical EQ setting that could fix it. Maybe I need to look up the cutoff frequency on MP3

Not given up yet, Im gonna see whats up...

Up the bit rate to 256 fixes it. I just redid Agayu and the pops are gone.
Well most are gone. I just found one pop
