anyone got anymore poncy food photos of anything they've cooked ?

I did this the other night, tilapia, with spicy chorizo, with new potatoes pan fried in the chorizo oil, and the leftover oil drizzled over the salad.  Was quite nice.

Whose next then ?  Perhaps we should start up a Dancetech Cafe ?

didn't do it meself of course, but this is the sort of morsel you get in a fancy restaurant.

some fish with, i think, white chocolate and a smear of what can only be described as ... no, i'm not going there.

Was top actually, only thing i couldn't eat was the squab pidgeon. This was last year, hopefully going again on monday night.

sausage salad? ... well it works with those Herta frankfurters, grill em, chop em up, chuck into salad as an alternative to tuna or whatever, yummy.

I do like those Herta frankfurters, especially on the BBQ, but they aint very healthy !  I think one of the big fat ones contains about 34,000 calories.

You can tell the fish wasn't fresh enough by the eyes but this was nice enough - lemon sole with toms, olives, parsley, onion, lemon juice, olive oil. Would have been nicer had i cooked it with fresher fish for 2 minutes less.

Nice one Beds. Looks good.

Its pretty difficult getting hold of really fresh fish these days, unless you have a decent fishmonger, or live near the coast.  Our fishmonger closed down a few years ago, which is gutting. Our local waitrose has a limited fish counter and I was shocked to find just how much stuff comes in frozen and is thawed out for the fish counter.

Aye, the eyes, and also the smell. Really fresh fish shouldnt have that fishy smell to it, so Rick Stein keeps saying.

I fancy some fish now.
