I've been playing the bass in a rock band for close to 8 years but always wanted to get into house/electronic. I dont know where to start. I already have a USB audio interface and a usb midi keyboard.

Where do I start? I heard most people use either Logic, Reason or FL Studio but I don't know which I should use. Also is there a complete-beginner tutorial anywhere for any of these programs?

Any help will be appreciated.

hi mate. There's tons of programs. Some people also like Ableton or Reaper or Cubase etc.

tbh they will all do the job, so you gotta choose, and of course Logic is Mac only

if you own mac, then Logic is cheap & comes with tons of instruments & loops etc. i'd prol;y advise Logic, cos you can also run it to start with in cut-down non-advanced mode; get used to it a bit, then switch it into advanced mode.

We do Logic tutorials & also there is some guy doing logic tuts online who makes house. etc. There's plenty of lessons online anyways whichever sequencer you choose.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
