from what I know on logic audio the sysex utilise one of the
channels to create extra information for certain keyboards
it transmits to every keyboard on the matrix but you
need manufactures codes to sort seperate program changes.
I don`t know much my self mate but it`s really something I
like to read up on

There's a sysex utility/manager/librarian to download from this site...

It's in the "MARCH 97" features on the front page...I ain't had time to review it yet...but it seems basically, that you send a dump to the software, and it then can interogate your machine...get the ID number, then you can set about filing your edits !!...try it..
