Subject: File Management for Logic Pro X

Hi all,
I am very new to Logic Pro X so apologies for my ignorance.
I am using Mac with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.
I want to move all sample files from my hard drive to an external hard drive in order to space up my internal hard drive and also to save my projects into an external HD.
I am somehow having difficulties to do so even though i watched few videos on youtube regarding this subject. Can someone refer me to a comprehensive Video/Article about this subject?
