Exellent value for money! Very noiseless and reliable (dropped to concrete floor from 1.5 metres, no problem! (f*cking guitarists!)) We have succesfully recorded vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, drums etc. with Sound Craft preamp. This is more than useful large membrane condenser mic for small/home studios! If some negative have to be said, usually we need to use eq (increase 4kHz) to open sound and also in vocal recordings distance of the singer is important to maximize proximity-effect and reach maximum fullness of vocalists voice. Anyway, this is not NEUMANN and doesn´t cost thousands!

I've just ordered this from thomann as a bundle with a Digidesign Mbox 2...can't wait until it arrives :) sound like a very reliable mic from the comments posted here. cheers then! :)

I just got one of these from Thomann, but i didnt no much about it co there werent any reviews, so i thought i'd help out those people considering it.
I was thinking about getting the SC400 and SC600, but i had enough money, and thought i'd pay the extra as i didnt need extra polar patterns etc, and i want a mic that looked good.
Don't forget it comes in a really good case + shockmount. It looks EVEN BETTER in real life than online!! It looks fantastic! I tried it out with some vocals and guitar today, and it was really warm and clear, very very quiet, and sounded amazing. Glad i got this one!! Perfect for home studio!! Just what i needed. Using ART tube preamp.

just ordered this from thomann with mbox 2 as bundle. Im gonna study music tech at uni so it should be
useful. The reviws look good and other thomann products are of good quality. Cant wait.
