Amazing. Buy it. I've had a good amount of experience with both portable, low level recorders and expensive, computer based cooleditproesc studios and for the money and not for the money...the MRS 1608 is a crusher. If you know how to read, the ease in operating this machine is tough to beat. The manual shows you everything you need to know in clear and concise sections. The sound quality is phenomenal, the extra features including its editing tools, drum/bass and effects and samples are absolutely amazing and easy to control.
If you're on the fence, let this review be your preverbial shove toward buying. I'm a 29 year old aspiring musician and this is one of the best tools I've ever purchased.
