yesterday i was setting up a program. in fact, one sample was all...setting a lowpass filter, & the whole thing went shit. my sound dissapeared into nowhere...came back every so often as static or distortion, whatever...i have been informed by the akai list that this is a bug introduced in OS 1.20 when they redesigned the filters that they haven't yet been able to fix. grrrrrrr....4 hours wasted yesterday. well, now it works ok though, & when it does, it sounds great. the sound is so bright & crisp..

Has not ever happened to me, though my sampler is not scsi connected to my mac, but a independant ext. h.d. I have good quality ram memory installed. Am using the latest o.s,.... no problems.
