Just something i was wondering,i was playing about on my keyboard this morning and came across the chord above(the A# being a major variation when hit instead of A).I got loads of melodies to work off it,and was pretty happy with the ideas i got.Is there many more of these 5(or more) note chords, its pretty difficult to pick them out by ear because i can't get the next to "follow".any ideas?

What exactly are you asking here ?

If you want to add a note to that scale, the A would be a good choice, extending the chord containing all the notes from Cm11 to Cm13.

(Assuming that that's the way to write 'minor')

Its difficult to explain, but what I was wondering what the relationship of the large and the small chords is,like how would you go about doing some sort of chord progression with this(would you have to change the whole scale?),what other types is there, how is this used properly etc, I don't really listen to jazz(i have been meaning to  or any musical stuff,so any information in general would be greatly appreciated.
