I just added the Series 80B for posterity... but i found out some quite interesting stuff and added lots of interesting links - worth checking out if you're into it (see tech frontpage 'latest added gear listings/reviews' - center column)

John Oram who worked for Toft & Trident and claims to have been instrumental in the trident Eq design circuitry & sound has his own company and they are making some HOT products based on the original Trident Eq... Toft i dunno about, I read he left Fletcher, but they handle the Trident-MTA brand which makes some alternative Trident repro-eq stuff sold thru Joe-Meek... Intersting stuff anyways...

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

for what?... the Trident-MTA rack with the two 80B repro eq's/channels in it is £999 I think

I thought all thd trident boards were big bucks. Is it a live mixer or studio.

I see waht you are getting at. you can get the old 80b wq's in a rack mount. i am looking for a better front end to the DAW.

s80 producer pack retails which is two eq's and a stereo bus with pan, in a wooden frame is almost $3k. I have been looking at the TL Audio TubeTracker.

yeah but that's the Oram version the 'Trident-mta' one thru Joemeek is cheaper.

haven't seen a vender that stocks it. But looked it up on joemeek worold. That is exactly what i need as a front end for vocals and other mic'ed stuff.

found one vender in the uk on the MTA, they sell for $1699 Euro, $1549 us. not so cheap! I saw a nice looking trident series 24 on ebay for $7995. How do they stack up. Is it just a smaller version of the 80?
