sounds tight, my friend. cool tribal vibe, nice space around each sound... real depth in this track. And not one flat peak, good job

If you cut the "who you are" part of the "you know who you are" phrase and slid it back just a few ticks, I think it would sit int he pocket better. To me, it feels like it should fall slightly behind the beat if anything. Cool rhythm if you nail it.

What's that guy talking about anyway??

See your point. The vocals are the intro to a soul tune, acapella. That phrase may not be perfectly on the beat... but i think that's ok. Quantize vs. swing i guess. Actually some of the other phrases are way off - "may not be with me tonight" he stutters. Anyway on the dance floor all fluff is good.
