play a sub bass thru your speakers and go stand with your head in the corner - if it feels like you have an itch inside your head u cant scratch no matter how hard you push yer finger in your ear you need bass traps
um....... over to psy i presume
(aurelex website describes how to go about treating your room properly tho)

have you met my friend GOOGLE?
you seem like the king of getting way too far ahead of yourself. If you dont know how to use an analyzer on your room...maybe you ought not be that far yet?
treating a room is a boundless, inexact science and you can spend literally thousands of dollars tryin to do it. not to say dont bother, but...dont bother?
seriously, man...back up just a bit.
that said, again, google. TONS of info available. so much itll make your head spin.
and...cant remember if youre in the states, but if you want some cheap "soundproofing" try foambymail (ebay user ID) they sell shit equivalent to auralex for like 1/5 the price

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

why not try the above method- ive not yet (house moves negates this) but seems like a good way to find the best neutral spot in your room- i say do that and then learn the room/speakers as im having to currently do

Je's you do actually know me very well - lol.
Ok maybe I am trying to sprint before I can walk, A common Lloyd trait.
better to just try to reduce anything hostile and then 'learn' the room/speakers
That sounds sensible, maybe I will start with this, time to go Googling
Cheers for the link Monkey
Thanks
