I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

he does some uncanny shit with his beats....which always serve to remind me of his ingenuity.
no aspect of the music seems to go without notice.
really pretty incredible considering his hungarian ancestry and all.

took a good loud listen to mainframe 9 and i must say this reveals a most new-generation
awareness on your part...whatever that means.....i can make shit up around here or what?!?!?
anyway/ this is no doubt your most carefully-considered piece in my opinion.....not so much just compositionally...even though the song itself is quite tremendous and 100% YOU~ but in terms of how you've managed to get everything to sit and fit so neatly and not feel rushed or urgent and yet maintaining this famous tension-and-hovering-about-those-dark-edges of yours. i really love the voice and the way it adds to the atmosphere here.
it's just an excellent piece of music...it lacks nothing....though i wouldn't mind a long-version where you take the voice sample....break the entire thing down into a deconstructed dream centered around that vocal-bit sequence sqauashing mutating and destroying that only to bring us back home.
you know?....while you're back there being shy and all.
i'd be shy too.

That is for sure Clay :-) Well, honestly I tend to classify this piece as one of my most "consolidated" tracks ever. And even though usually I find more enjoyment in my other tracks where more damage is done and the conflicts are more abstract and antagonistic, still I like how M9 flows with the current with that little dark tone introduced mostly by that sample. And while I loved to work on this song, I rarely listen to it after it has been finished, . But yeah, maybe it just needs a little time
Of course one (and that includes me sometimes) can argue that this is just plain bullshit, and the real important thing is that I am realy happy if I could bring a little enjoyment to others with my work.
