I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

being a spastic, I'm more than likely the last person to cotton on to this but here you go anyway - this'll speed your connection up. worked for me anyway.
1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return.
Scroll down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a
time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once,
which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30.
This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name
it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This
value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts
on information it receives. If you're using a broadband
connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now!

Zazza was showing me some great add-on's recently, like the one that autofills out subscribe forms for sites so you dont have to register

Better than having to give up your inside leg measurement before you are allowed to read an article.
adblock is very cool too...
Tired of ads?
If you're tired of all the intrusive adverts that are increasingly taking over the Internet, Adblock is for you. Using the numerous free filter repositories available on the net and the intuitive blocking tools, you are able to customise your Firefox so that the most annoying ads are not displayed, thus leaving you to browse safely and to enjoy your Internet experience.

There are shitloads of others as well.. my faves:
Mouse Gestures:
GoogleBar
ForecastFox (weather)
Flashblock (stop those pesky flash thingies slowing your puter to a crawl)
List of extensions:

Great tweak for Thunderbird too, gives you different colours for 'I said', 'they said' in an email, makes it a billion times easier to read.

and follow the first tip... "Use different Quote Level Colors"
