Can anyone recommend me a set of cans? Not that I'd be mixing on them. More for checking detail, pan placement and monitoring late at night. I'm not looking for super pro, gold plated, 1hz-500000000k but more for something that gives me an accurate idea of what's happening. Some of these so called "pro" headphones are a bit heavy in the bass department. My budget is around the �50 mark. Can I get some alright ones for that?

or maybe what greg said. got my sony mdr-7506 on right now. not the best, not the worst. good for the price if you can get them.

maybe AKG K-141 or 171, they're cheap(er). i dont like them much, but half the world seems to be using them.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
