Yeah, not bad... Now go to bed.

p.s. I use Audio Technica ATH-D40, and I'm happy with them.

I have a Sennheiser HD475 - half-open. And I like it.

You can't mix properly with headphones (if you've tried this and you've got a good pair of monitors you know what I mean).

However there fine for tracking, building up ideas and programming synths. I use a pair of Maplins 'own brand' monitor head phones. I believe they are £25 pounds. I bought them when I accidentaly destroyed an expensive pair (yes, as ever, I stood up quickly with the cable under my foot)and was a bit short of cash.

They are actually better than my previous pair which cost over £100 pounds.

I use a pair of sennheiser HD 25 SP.

I think these are the bizz!

They're not totally closed, but the external reduction is about -20dB!!! Pretty impressive I think.

Because they're not totally closed they don't make your ears hurt after a while.

Make sure you don't get a *Great* pair of HiFi phones instead of a pair of *Great* studio phones...

Off the soap box - Fin.
