Phill,
Can a sound that kas been dumped from OS2, to PC, be restored to OS3 and sound the same?
If so, can't we keep our own favorites?
If not, that is a problem for anyone saving sounds as part of their sequencer setups.

Please keep SilverGlide, Velo Sync and RoundhouseBass for an old rocker ;-)
btw, the first sound most people here from a SN is A000. Why did you place the cruel "Neuroglider" there ?

All the sounds that you currently have will be 100% compatible...the only thing you may have to alter is the reverb settings as the machine will have better different types of reverb.

All these sounds listed above will still be available as a Bank D dump on our site.

Neuroglider was chosen because it was one of the best sounds. This is always a tough decision as no matter what you pick it will not be right for everyone...some peolpe may think a reall agreeive 303 thing should be there...some would really like a BIG spacey pad or something like that...it all boils down to style.

Anybody notice something most of these sounds have in common ?

Mostly they're sounds unique to the SuperNova.

No doubt Phil has cheerfully replaced these with yet more simulations of sounds already on other manufacturer's equipment - sounds that woefully underuse the SN's potentially very powerful sound engine and that many people will have anyway !!!

We shall see....

Casio VL tone simulation anyone ?

I can't help but wonder how much the release of OS3 has been delayed while Phil has been involved in the pointless exercise of rearranging the SNs sounds - wasn't the consensus on this forum a while back that the existing sounds were great as they were ?

One wonders how many of these 'new' sounds will have been submitted bu SN end users - I suspect not very many

Glad to see the excellent 'Vindaloo Noise' is being kept (wonder who wrote that one)

Im sure many people like me use this most musical tone in all their compositions :-)

Please see thread 'OS3' to see what this is all about.

Phill, can we have a sound that sounds like someone treading in a crud pile! I suggest it is called 'Novation SupernovaOS3'

Hmmmmmmm, strange?? Well obviously it's never going to happen, but then nor is OS3 so it's no problem really!
