I can't get my pc to play rebirth nor hammerhead. Both seem to be working well (as a prog. i.e.) but there's no sound, and in addition the mastervolume control in rebirth is not "moving". Recycle is working well though....Hmmm, does anybody know what do to? Tnx.

Every time I use my friend's Mac I cry bitter tears of jealousy, especially when my PC tells me my "program has performed an illegal operation".

Get an Intel approved motherboard then and stop installing every shareware and games application you find.

Price of a Good Mac = Price of 2 Good PC's = Price of a Atari ST with a REAL Tb-303 and a REAL Tr-909... You f*ckin' decide... for me the choice is clear... ;}

I had a mac. It choaked and died on me. Bastard.

Mac=overpriced designer accessory.

Btw. I have an Intel approved m.board and p133 processor - but I guess I've installed too much crap. My advice is: don't install crap.

Don't talk crap either mudsucker. Everyone knows macs are better. Price of my Power clone @ 132 mhz 56 meg 1.2 gig $3000. I can upgrade to a G3 processor that SMOKES your toys. I have an under $ 2000 sub-notebook that KILLS most of your desktops. It simultaneously run Logic Audio, Rebirth and some other real-time synth apps AND LETS ME BROWSE THE NET. I am doing so now. Ever hear of Pro Tools ? Are you bloody green yet ?

Bob

ps: why are all of the major players committed to the Mac ? It's because most personal computer innovations have occurred on our side.
