I don't think that the snv could replace the prophecy, but the an1x? they're cool and everything, but from what i've learned about the snv, it smokes the yamaha unit. If you can live with a 37 note controller with some nice real time controls, I'd say dump the yamaha and control the snv with the proph( it sends out midi data polyphonically) and you'll have the best of both worlds, and it's super portable!
