ive just downloaded the demo of making waves, and quiet frankly it amazing! Ive had all these problems with cubasevst and this demo is a million times better-you should all get it. The new version is out too if you have the registered version its free and it has midi implementaion all in the same way, which is really easy. Amazing now i can get those frikin soungs out onto my computer rather than flying around my head! Sorry to be rude, but warez the whole file? im a poor student

Who's talking warez? I don't really want my registered 'Making Waves', these guys don't really want their registered VST's, sound like a legal swap to me.

well that is an interesting one..... I wonder what is the legal position on that one... like can you sell or transfer by swapping the registration for a programme....interesting.....

I must admit, that this is a stupid waste
of bandwidth, but I must say what I have to
say.

I posted the original post because I sincerly
believe that some fuckers are eventually get
this site closed down, thru ignorance and
stupidity. Every one trades warez these days
but a public forum like this is NOT the place.

Come one you guys,

this geezer KILO, who looks very much like
a bloke I was talking to in the 414 club sometime
in the past ... drugs ... is trying to run a site
for the benefit of the dance music fraternity.

Indescrete twats like you like get his arse hauled
by the powers that be. KILO ... don't fuck with
big software companies ... I've watched the
threads ... prudency ... what I fuck ...

I'm off, lost the plot ...

I'm good at music law, not common practice, so I'll try to relate that here.

When used cd's began being sold at large record chains, the record co's had a fit. They stated that it was unlawful because sellers were selling intellectual property, not just the physical cd's. Only those sellers and distributors licensed could deal with the intellectual property. the record co's lost; congress quickly amended the copyright laws to state that upon purchase, consumers were granted full use of the product for further distribution short of piracy.

Same goes with s/w, and I challenge Steinberg to get back to me and contest that fact. BTW, I am a registered VST owner and Making Waves owner; Making Waves is a toy and wasn't worth my $70, but if someone wants to give me their VST WITH the dongle, I'd be happy to take it and sell it off to someone else.
