Looks like the days are numbered for sample based hardware synths like the EMU range etc.

How can a 32MB sample set compare with 3.7GB, 1,000,000 different possible permutations and 32-Bit processing.

Looks mad and the demos on the web sound like something else.

Anyone tempted ? Had a play ?

I use Reaktor. Just got the Electronic Instruments Volume 1. Nice stuff. I'm still tempted to get absynth. Will have to check out the Zeta thingy for the GUI alone. Horizons posted a link to a site that carries usermade Reaktor stuff. Will be adding some of those too. Mostly the clones and emulators like the Jupiter synth.

I just found Z3TA+. It's by RGC! Didn't listen to any samples. I tell ya I still love their Pentagon. I'm doing a track using one of Pentagon's Hoover presets just a touch. Damn! But I can imagine Z3TA+ is great.
