3D from Massive Attack has been arrested on child porn charges. The police also found a small quantity of pills. He is one of my heros. He made a sound statement though. We'll have to wait and see.

Thing is, this whole Paedophile thing got way out of hand before Mathew Kelly. And as you say, if someone has been donwloading this stuff to their computer then, yes, they are stupid. Which brings us on to the obvious thought that anyone who has their wits about them isn't going to use their own credit card. If you know the right people, it is very easy to get other peoples credit card nos, even celebrities.

Don't get me wrong, I hate the idea of anyone being mistreated in the ways that are being suggested by the police. But I equally hate the fact that the police are being driven by media-fed public opinion to carry on with this disgusting crusade. It's like a fucking on-demand freakshow. Pretty soon the Paedophile theme will wear off and it will be something else. The public have always been a blood-hungry bunch of mothers and will not rest. History has proven this.

and yes, there is an obvious move by the police to arrest high(er) profile people.

so we heard about townsend and 3d, but what about all the judges, police, religious types that have already been aressted (and charged)?

i guess the wankers have got to be seen to be doing something, especially since a couple of their own (who worked on which well known child porn case?) got caught the other month.

i think the whole moral panic biz is about to implode- i mean we've done immigrants, child killers, guns, ez, gm food whats left?

not much- we need some more scapegoats, the media aren't overreacting nearly enough for my liking-
