Does anyone want to swap their Supernova for my Korg Z1. Its in perfect condition, with manual. By the way, swaper must in UK, or they can pay for postage.
Cheers!

I agree Z1's are pretty hard to program. Especially when the Z1 was the first synth I ever bought and I was not used to manual synthesis techniques of any sort.
I have since picked up various methods of kicking out great sounds from the Z1 and from doing this I will say that you should not ditch the Z1 just yet. However, I do prefer my Supernova but the programming methods are much the same with the only main difference being the usuable interface and some other settings and functions applied to the Supernova.

As I said...I do prefer the Supernova but having both is brilliant especially when you eventually get the handle on programming the Z1. I have had my Z1 for over a year now and I am still finding new ways to create killer sounds.

Think before you jump..

SmaCk303 - i like to make trance music, got any good patches for this - like pads and stuff?
By the way, turnkey have increased the price of the z1 to £899 - i went there the other day! I know they had it for £799 at one point, but they have increased it!!

James,

Drop me an email and we can take the Z1 discussion off line from this Supernova post. I may have some hints and tips I can give you about the Z1 and it's operation.

Cheers,

SmaCk303
