Ive been reading alot on alternative programs to akais MESA.
Its seems like the Millenium SW is only PC though
Is there anything out there for MAc OS?

i suppose the reason why i don't find mesa flakey is that i never use it's audio editor (because it's admittedly not very good), i mostly use it as a scsi transferring tool. stuff like start/end and loop points are much quicker if you do them on the sampler, and for more complex stuff i would use peak on the mac or cool edit/wavelab on the pc in any case. the program editor/control centre in MESA is useful when you've got loads of different samples to assign in one program for example, but i find i still use the lcd screen for most functions - much quicker.
so you're right... but mesa's still not bad considering it's free...
